The culmination of decades of effort, the organ at St Giles Catholic Church incorporates pipework from the Hutchings/Austin organ that Second Church of Christ, Scientist in Chicago enjoyed for almost a century.  The tremendous pipe scales and voicing style of these resources provided the verve needed to fill the vast room from behind the altar at St. Giles.  New pipework, vintage St. Giles pipework, and a foundation of all-new steel and chestwork filled the newly renovated and expanded organ chamber to create and instrument that would support 21st-century liturgy for the parish.  A mobile rift-sawn white oak console provides a stunning key feature for both the listener and the musician.
