The pipe organ at St. Francis Xavier is positioned along the long axis of the nave, which enjoys considerable acoustical advantage over the previously chambered instrument. Neo-classical in its tonal disposition, the organ employs low pressure style voicing that gently reverberates in the large Romanesque building.
