Divisions are situated across the balcony, and are concealed by casework of red oak and pipes of 75% polished tin and Romanesque mouths in the facade. Tonally, the instrument incorporates new and vintage pipework, while the Solo division contains voices from the previous instrument. The Festival Trumpet, a commanding solo reed that is mounted vertically in the case, plays on 11" of wind. Ascension boasts some of the best acoustics in the area, with a reverberation time of over five seconds.
