St. Alphonsus Catholic - Photos Before Installation.
St. Alphonsus Catholic, Chicago, IL
In the 1980’s, a 1959 Casavant pipe organ was moved from Bay City, Michigan to St. Alphonsus, where it was installed in the balcony. Due to its previous chambered installation, it had no façade or casework, and remained that way until Berghaus constructed decorative casework to support new façade pipes. In addition, a new console was built in the Casavant style, yet incorporates new solid-state technology.
