In 1979, while under the direction of Donald Gillette (former President of Aeolian-Skinner), this 1940’s Moller was rebuilt and radically changed by Moller’s tonal department. In 2004, a hurricane severely damaged the organ. As a part of a larger chancel renovation project, Berghaus restored and expanded the instrument, including a reconfigured chamber and a new façade along with a rebuilt console. Fortunately, most of the pipework was salvaged and the tonal scheme of the organ preserved.
