In 2000 Berghaus Organ Company purchased a large commercial manufacturing facility located at 2151 Madison Street, Bellwood, Illinois. The building contained 25,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 5,000 square feet of office space. After purchasing the building, the manufacturing and office spaces were completely reconfigured and remodeled to meet the needs of the Berghaus Organ Company. In addition, a thirty eight foot high erecting room was added to insure that complex casework could be properly built and that organs could be assembled in their entirety prior to being shipped to the client.

The main production floor is divided into three sections that correlate to the building of consoles, action & winding components, and casework. The production area also contains the erecting room and spray booth. Both are sizeable and can easily handle large instruments. All three sections of the production area are served by a large, centralized dust collection system. Adjacent to the production area there are a number of clean rooms, suitable for the installation of solid-state electronics. There are also areas set aside for pipe cleaning and pipe repair. Ample storage space is available throughout the facility.

Separated from the main production area, the voicing rooms occupy space on both the first and second floors. These rooms are free of the noise and dust associated with the main production floor. The voicing rooms feature a total of four voicing stations thereby eliminating the bottlenecks that occur when voicing several instruments simultaneously.

Berghaus is also blessed to have an abundance of office and conference space. This space accommodates the tonal and structural design departments, the marketing department, the service department, and the office of the President.
